Linfield students and faculty are active participants in cultural activities and the arts, both on the Linfield campus and in the community. Involvement ranges from the college's annual theatre productions to a variety of musical activities, such as an award-winning choir, a college/community concert band, instrumental and vocal jazz ensembles, the Linfield Chamber Orchestra, Opera Theatre, and faculty/student chamber music groups.

The college's library hosts annual readings by a variety of authors and the campus art gallery displays work by local and regional artists. Students also produce their own literary magazine.

Various academic departments provide events and activities that explore and celebrate the creative arts, and you will find across the campus many opportunities to learn from or participate in artistic or cultural programs.
